Restaurants, Dairies and Farmhouse inns offer a wide variety of local dishes that are complemented by more original and interesting suggestions.

Some restaurants are specialised in specific dishes and are members of product clubs and quality protection associations:


Osteria Tipica Trentina (Typical Trentino Tavern)

This brand is awarded to restaurants adhering to strict guidelines where local products - from water to wine, from cured meats to cheese, from flour to fruit - are given pride of place in the menus.

La Strada dei Formaggi (Cheese Route)
It is a wine and food route linking the dairy products of the region: the restaurants that are part of the route serve mainly local types of cheese.

Farmhouse inns
These provide a great opportunity to directly meet the breeders and farmers, who use their own grown produce in most dishes.

Sant’Orsola
This Trentino farming cooperative unites producers (including some local farmhouse inns) of strawberries, wild strawberries, raspberries, black and red currants, blackberries and blueberries.

Alliance between Chefs and Slow Food Presidia
The alliance includes chefs that skilfully and creatively dedicate their cuisine to Slow Food Presidia, giving them pride of place on their menus while respecting their seasonal availability and focusing on a direct relationship with producers. Menus must include at least three Presidia, favouring local products.
